Who can be Against Us?

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son,
that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
And those he predestined, he also called;
those he called, he also justified;
those he justified, he also glorified.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?
~ Romans 8:28-31

When the world tries to knock you down, when people try to bring pain and misery into your life, remember that God has you!  He holds the key to your heart, he holds the future in his hands….they don’t!!  Know that when God is with you, no one can come against you!  All my love ❤

Help…video embed

Howdy!  So, I have been trying to embed video from youtube into my posts, but to no avail.  When I click on the add media button and click insert youtube video, it does nothing but sit there.  Then if I place the embed code into the post, the video still does not appear in my post, like wordpress says it will.  I can post just a video, but I want to embed one within a text post that I write, and can’t seem do it.  If anyone of you wonderful pros can help me out, I would be very grateful for the advice.  Thanks a million and blessings! 🙂

The Word, My Light

Your Word is a lamp unto my feet, a light on my path!!
Psalm 119:105

Ah, the freedom of the Lord!

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
Isaiah 61:1-3

Thank you Lord for your everlasting love! Thank you for your spirit that guides, inspires, renew, and breathes life into the darkness of our hearts and minds. May we remember you are our first love. You are our freedom from the shackles of this world. You are our hope for a future. You are our light in the darkness. You are our Creator, our Lover, our Father, our Friend, our King, and our heart’s desire! Help us to hold onto you always, living each day for you and you alone!

Eat The Words (11/1/13)

This post is so true, so valuable, so lovely that I had to share it! May you be as blessed as I was and may it cause you to think and then enjoy the beauty of God’s love for you through his word. God bless!

Read: Ezekiel 1:1-3:15, Hebrews 3:1-19, Psalm 104:1-23, Proverbs 26:24-26

“Son of man, let all my words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself. Then go…” (Ezekiel 3:10-11)

Tony the Tiger

Relate: There’s a boy who is afraid to ride a horse against some real cowboys. There’s a kid in soccer who wonders if anyone can score against the goalie named “The Wall”. Lets not forget the skateboarder who is challenged by his competition to “top that”. These kids face insurmountable odds. Then Tony shows up with a bowl of frosted flakes. “You can do it if you start your day off with a good breakfast. And frosted flakes aren’t just good. They’re great!” In thirty seconds or less you get a motivating message, a catchy little jingle, and the fiction that somehow frosted flakes constitutes a healthy breakfast.

As cute as these commercials are, Tony the Tiger, that cheerio’s bee…
