Do not be anxious about anything,
But in every situation,
By prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving
Present your requests to God.
And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding
Will guard your hearts and minds on Christ Jesus.

Tired and frail
Running in the dark
Reaching for air
Peace please come soon

Waiting for the light
Praying fervently
Seeking the still small voice
Peace please come soon

Inner turmoil
Fear an ever present reality
Floundering hope
Peace please come soon

Holding tight to God
His truth singing over me
Though I am weak, God is strong
Peace please come soon
