Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation.
The old things have passed away.
Behold, all things have become new.
~ 2 Corinthians 5:17 ~
With a New Year comes the promise of a fresh start, and for that matter with the dawning of each new morning comes the chance to start with a clean slate! What better time to cast off the past and cling to a hope filled future. Put away the bitterness, anger, and strife, exchanging it for forgiveness, joy and peace. Let go of the grievous sins that hold you back from fulfilling your God created destiny, and jump into God’s plan for your life. Today, with the promise of a New Year ahead of you…..let go and let God.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and future.
~ Jeremiah 29:11 ~
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined
according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will
~ Ephesians 1:11 ~
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His purpose.
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son,
so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
and these whom He predestined, He also called;
and these whom He called, He also justified;
and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
~ Romans 8:28-30
Don’t fret or fear the unknown, which lies ahead when you surrender and take the leap of faith to fulfill God’s plan for your life this year. Instead rest in the promise that he will never leave you nor forsake you! The path may not be easy, as a matter of fact I can guarantee it will be filled with trials and tribulations, but know with unwavering faith that God is with you through it all and can provide the strength you need to make it through. The past can hold you down, bury your heart in darkness and shame, even keep you mentally locked into depression and suicidal thoughts, but take heart….God will be there when you open the door to let him in. All you need do is let go and let God.
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid or terrified because of them,
for the LORD your God goes with you;
he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Then Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel,
“Be strong and courageous,
for you shall go with this people into the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them,
and you shall give it to them as an inheritance.
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you.
He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
~ Deuteronomy 31:6-8 ~
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations,
knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
and perseverance, proven character;
and proven character, hope;
and hope does not disappoint,
because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts
through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
~ Romans 5:3-4 ~
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
~ Philippians 4:13 ~
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed;
perplexed, but not despairing;
persecuted, but not forsaken;
struck down, but not destroyed
~ 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 ~
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works within us,
to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
~ Ephesians 3:20-21 ~
There truly is no better time to cast off the old burdensome ways, and press on toward hope, renewal, grace, joy, peace, and blessings beyond imagination. No matter what your choice this year (keep the old ways or adopt something new in Christ) you will always have trials and persecution. What better way to go through them than with the power of God! After all he did sacrifice all he had to reconnect with you, and provide you a future filled with hope and promise. Ask, seek, and knock at the door of your heart and soul, and I can guarantee God will answer and fill you with all he has to offer if you simply…..let go and let God.
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish,
but have eternal life.
For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world,
but that the world should be saved through him.
~ John 3:16-17
All my love and may you drink deeply of the promises of God this year, finding hope and grace beyond measure, and resting in the one true love that will keep you going for years to come, no matter the stormy trials you encounter. Blessings my friends ❤
