Time to be Well – Jenny Simmons

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103:1-5

Time to be Well

The ultimate Healer
The Physician of your heart and soul
He is the only One who can make you whole
Fill you with peace
Mend your shattered heart

No matter the pain
No matter the loneliness of life
God is the One that makes you well
Covers you with grace and love
Gives you peace to make it another day

You may be lost in the darkness of circumstances
You may be lying to yourself to make things better
With God at your side
You are not alone
He takes you to the throne of healing

Holding You – Matt Hammitt

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.
“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

Life can often be confusing, painful, and filled with chaos, but there is hope, peace, and healing that comes from the One who is always holding you through it all! Even when you are in your darkest hour, God is there. When the pain of life leaves your pillow soaked with tears, God is there. God never leaves you. He will always be there to hold you through the harshest storms of this life. Let go and let Him bring you rest and peace!

All my love ❤

Up or Down

Reality will come! Whether we choose to walk in it or not is a conscious decision each person must make for themselves.  Nothing we hide will remain hidden, nothing we shove on the back burner will be left there, nothing covered up by fake smiles and masks will go unrevealed. God wants us heart and soul, body and mind, and he will do all it takes to strip away the masks, putting a stop to the parade of illusions we tend to paint for ourselves. He wants rip off the band-aids of our wounds, and bring complete healing inside and out. Though the pain of life comes, and often hits pretty hard, it lasts but only a moment, to be replaced by the glorious love, peace and comfort of the One True God!! I am not exempt of putting on a mask to make it through the day, but when the sun sets and my head rests upon the pillow, God speaks his love and truth to my heart, reminding me to stop putting on my best show and to be a living witness to the pain and sorrow that exists in my life and my heart, so that when he brings healing and joy, others will see his marvelous works.

Father God, if it glorifies you, I pray you give me strength to stand in the here and now, to be real with my emotions, bringing you glory through the healing!! I pray that no matter what I or others face, you remind us that you are near, you are here, you are working all things for our good, Father.

May God bless and keep you grounded in reality, showing you peace and joy through your darkest of times. All my love ❤

For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed,
and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
~ Luke 8:17 ~

Painted faces masquerade
Breezes blowing here and there
Effortlessly gliding through life
Not what they appear

Painful scars covered up
Masks to hide the tears
Parading up and down
Don’t reveal the fear

Dancing feet scurry by
Twirling delicately each day
Tiptoeing around the darkness
Desperately seeking a way

Holding tight to illusions
Mirrors of perfection held high
Don’t let anyone see
Pray they just pass by

Streets paved with eggshells
Treading ever so lightly
Lest the world cave in
Never reveal the unsightly

Swinging through the air
Up and down they go
Stepping in front of the curtain
Putting forth the best show

I wait upon the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in His word I hope.

Broken Heart

The moon will shine like the sun,
and the sunlight will be seven times brighter,
like the light of seven full days,
when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people
and heals the wounds he inflicted.
~ Isaiah 30:26

Broken Heart

Intense pain of a haunting past
Anguish consumes the heart
Bleeding under God’s crushing hand
Torturous to mind and soul
Struggling simply to exist
Lord, You cut the heart deeper each time
Endless lies once festering pour out freely
Creating wounds that reveal your truth
This affliction is so harsh, so devastating
Why does it have to be so hard?
You slice and rip the flesh apart
Bringing brokenness once again
To embrace Your truth means letting go
Releasing deceptions harbored in the dark
Lovingly this pain flows forth
Leaving room for a God filled heart

Come as You Are! ~ Crowder

Come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy
And my burden is light.
~ Matthew 11:28-30

My Heart Bleeds

We have all waked the road of turmoil, broken hearts and pain at some point in this life.   We have all journeyed into thoughts of darkness and despair, yet still we stand! We stand because of God, despite our afflictions, despite our doubt. We stand because in our soul, the very core of who we are, we feel the very hand of God moving, stirring the heart, healing the wounds, and making us beautiful once again. Though our hearts may bleed, it is indeed God’s healing love that brings us back to a place of peace and rest. May you find your rest in Him, especially when your heart is bleeding and the circumstances appear so dark and bleak. Remember, God is there. Hold tight to Him, cry out to Him!! Let Him bring healing through and through!

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,
Because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners;
To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn, giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:1-3

My Heart Bleeds

I stand broken and torn
My heart laid open before You Lord
My God, my Savior save me from this pain
Shelter me in the shadow of Your wing
Protect me from Satan’s snares
Fill me with You O God
This world hurts so much
Despite Your loving hand
My heart bleeds before You
Your desires within me are so strong
Cutting to the core of my very soul
Shattering my peace
Breaking me even more
I want You Lord to be all that I need
No one or nothing else will do
Fill me please
This is my cry
My heart’s desire is to need only You
Please, Father God heal this broken heart

Lord, You are so Good to Me!

But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all Your good deeds.
~ Psalm 73:28

Lord, You are so Good to Me!

Lord God You are so good to me
Blessing me beyond compare
Each day You give me all I need
Never giving more than I can bear

I trust You to heal me completely
Making me healthy and new
Hearing my prayers and pleas
I humbly bring them before You

Lord You bring me comfort
Filling me with peace and love
Providing understanding and support
Blessing me with angels from heaven above

For Your continuing healing upon me
I thank You so very much
My praise to You will forever be
Thank You for Your loving touch

To You my very life I owe
Each and every day I give to You
For on my own I cannot grow
So thank You Lord for all You do

He is God

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
We are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken;
Cast down, but not destroyed.

He is God

When the world appears hopeless
and all of life is falling apart
When dark skies loom ever closer
and burden are too heavy to carry
Always know that someone is there
He cannot be seen and often is not heard
But to those that need Him most
He will surely reveal Himself
With compassion, He gently caresses troubles away
With love, He encourages through the tough times
With sympathy, He lets you now He understands
He too has walked the trials of this world
He is pure
He is peace
He is hope
He is your guardian and your source of light
when none can be found
Your comforter and companion for life
He is God
