Your Mission….

encourage one another
Your mission today should you choose to accept it, comes straight from the Word of God:
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32
If we all lived by this and made it a point to treat others as we would love to be treated, oh what a wonderful world we would live in. May you find blessings in simple things that surround you and hope in the everyday things of life. All my love ❤

Journey in Relationships

I have found myself exceedingly blessed with a wonderful Godly man with which I am spending time getting to know and we are growing in our walk with God both independently and together. However, though we are both Christians and want to please the Lord and bring him honor and glory in our relationship, life has a way of challenging that mentality. The journey to purity is never easy, but always worth it! I was blessed to be reminded of this song and wanted to share it. No matter what trials, temptations, or tribulations we may face, if we fix our eyes on the Lord, all things will work out for our good!

May you be blessed and remember that “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” ~ 1 Corinthians 10:13. This does not mean that we can bear the temptation in our own strength and might, but rather through strength in Christ we can stand and walk in obedience to God (Phil. 4:13).

Blessing and love to you all ❤

Searching for meaning? Seeking more for your life? Have the nagging feeling that there is more to your existence than the day-to-day routine? Guess what? You are right! You are called to so much more than what this world has in store for you. Did you know you were designed by God Himself for a purpose? You were created to fulfill a mission that is of the utmost importance! Yes, you!! You are called to share the word of God, to bring His truth into deceived hearts, to bring hope to those who have lost theirs, to be a light that shines midst the darkness. You were created on purpose for a purpose. As scripture says in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” God designed you to desire more than the mundane routine of this world! Stand in His strength and live your life to the fullest! Glorify God’s kingdom and bring eternal joy to your heart.

All my love! ❤

He said to them,
“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
Mark 16:15-16

Why am I here?
What is my purpose?
There is an answer
I do propose

You were created on purpose
To fulfill your destiny
Designed to share God’s love
Even in the midst of scrutiny

You were created for such a time as this
To declare the mystery that is of God
Revealing His truth
Breaking through the world’s facade

You have been called to something higher
A mission from God, the Creator Himself
You were created to shine His light
Not to live for yourself

You are needed to bring salvation to the lost
To shine light were darkness resides
You can be an instrument God uses
Bringing  hope to desperate, longing lives

Why are you here?
To reveal God to the lost and dying hearts that be
What is your purpose?
To stand in faith that shines for the entire world to see

Listen to your heart
Heed that still small voice
Know that you were made for so much more
Will you stand on your own or abide in His choice?

Sheep of His Pasture

Be very careful, then how you live–not as unwise but as wise,
making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
Ephesians 5:15-17

Sheep of His Pasture

Meek as sheep
Filled with peace
Walking with God each day
Utilizing all opportunities
Humble obedience
Maturing with His love

Wise as eagles
Searching for the Lord
Yearning for His will
Following Him boldly
Professing His name
Claiming eternal life

Cautious as a deer
Fully aware
Knowing evil lurks
Seeking to devour
Holding tight to God’s armor

Bold as tigers
Spreading the truth
Shedding light among darkness
Bringing hope
Witnessing through action and word
Building the Kingdom of God

Gentle as doves
Following Christ
Walking intimately with Him
Knowing Him heart and soul
Living ambassadors
Desiring to please God

Serve the Lord — Help Me!!

“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve:
whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River,
or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house,
we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15

Serve the Lord — My Prayer

Help me Lord to seek You daily
Lead me in the paths of righteousness
Restore to me what has been lost in the day to day
I do not desire the chaos of this life
I want you and only you Lord

Help me lead my son in the way he should go
Give me words to share your love and fill his heart
May I show him your light through all I do and say
I ask you to build his heart on Your foundation
I desire only for him to serve you and you alone Lord

Help me Lord to witness to all whom you place in my life
May my actions speak louder than my words
Let my home be a beacon of your truth in every way
I want only to provide a safe haven for all who enter
I yearn to serve you and you only Lord

Help me Lord to stand strong in faith
Shower me with your wisdom and your grace
Use me Lord to build your Kingdom here on Earth
I eagerly hope to be refined and grown into your image
I aspire to be more like you and only you Lord

Waiting Once Again!

I am so ecstatic at the way God moves, but let me assure you it is not always easy. There are things in life we all desire. Perhaps a job, a spouse, children, to travel, and on and on the list may go for some. However, I find it so amazing how God moves. No matter my desire (or yours), he moves in his time, not mine, and always for my best (and yours!). Looking back on my life, I can say with confidence that every time God said no to my desires he brought something better than I could have imagined into my life. Every time he asked me to wait, he met my desire to the fullest. Job lost everything in his life that he held dear, but in his heart and soul, deep within his spirit, he knew God had a plan, and what a plan it was indeed. As he waited during the catastrophic struggle of his life, he held tight to his hope in God’s promises, and was blessed beyond measure, more than he could ever have imagined.

I want to encourage you, to tell you, that though you may be walking through the darkest valley, struggling to keep your head above the water, or crying out to God in the moments of loneliness, HE IS WITH YOU. He may be telling you NO to your hearts desire. He may be asking you to WAIT for the storm to pass. He may be telling you YES to things you don’t think you want. Hold tight, pray, seek his face, meditate on his word, and rest in the truth that he WILL work ALL things out for your GOOD and for his GLORY.

God be with you, and may you feel his presence as you wait! All my love ❤

Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.
Proverbs 8:34

Waiting Once Again!

Yearning for so much more

Crying out for Your will to be done

Pressing onward
Stepping out on faith that all will work for my good

Focusing on Your agenda and not my own

Waiting on You to move Lord God

See, I have set before you today life and prosperity,
and death and adversity;
in that I command you today to love the LORD your God,
to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments,
that you may live and multiply,
and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.
~ Deuteronomy 30:15-16 ~

Rise Amidst the Adversity!

Aware that I am not in charge
Detours consistently interfere
Vitality wanes with every blow
Ever-present change comes without warning
Reality sinks within the soul
Security is lost
Intense emotions ebb and flow
Tempting me to give up
Yet, with God, I rise above it all
