Let it Go!! Trust!!

The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever,
For in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.
~ Isaiah 26:3-4

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
~ Philippians 4:6-7

In times where your mind wanders and you feel your thoughts drifting to negativity or areas of darkness and fear, bring them captive to the Lord. Bring them into His presence, surrendering them, and letting God bring you back to His light and peace. Yes, this is a hard process, but the more frequently you do it, the easier it becomes. When you give it all to God, He promises to bring you peace and comfort, to lead you in the path everlasting. That doesn’t mean the pain will go away or the circumstances will change in an instant, but it does mean that God will be with you through them, reminding you that He is bigger than anything you may face, that He is stronger than the challenges, that He knows the direction you must go to achieve His perfection! Let go and let God! All my love, and as you go through your day, may you find your heart and mind focused on the glory and beauty of God!

Seek and You Will Find!

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
~ Jeremiah 29:13

Seek_and_You_Shall_Findsm

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.
“So do not worry about tomorrow;
for tomorrow will care for itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.
~ Matthew 6:33-34

IF….

If you seek Me, you will find Me
If you ask, I will give to you freely
If you knock, the door will be opened to you
If you desire, I will be in all that you do
If you examine, My truth you will find
If you trust, know that you will be refined
If you follow, my abundant blessings will flow
If you listen, you will hear Me wherever you go
If you challenge, you will rise above
If you pursue, you will feel My love
If you pray, My answer you will receive
If you claim, My freedom I will give
If you serve, in life you will rejoice
If you rest, you will hear My quiet voice
If you praise, a cheerful heart you will possess
If you love, you will find true happiness
If you hope, deep joy you will develop
If you surrender, My peace will envelop

All my love and may you seek God first in all that you do, for when He is the center of your life, all else falls into place.  May the God of peace, mercy, and grace hold you in His arms now and always!  ❤

Inspired Every Day!

I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound.
In everything and in all things I have learned the secret
both to be filled and to be hungry,
both to abound and to be in need.
I can do all things through Christ,
who strengthens me.
~ Philippians 4:12-13 ~

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end.

Glory Abounds

Life has ups and downs
Yet the glory of God abounds
No matter the storms that rage
Peace can be found in any stage
Sorrow may come and tears may flow
Hope remains with a new tomorrow
Depression and disappointment may thrive
But through grace I can survive
Life has its ups and downs
But God’s love always surrounds

New Year Equals New Opportunities (Beckah Shae~Life)

Prayer of jebez

New Year equals new opportunities, new outlook, and new chances! I love the beginning of a new year as it provides a chance to start over with a clean slate and positive outlook!! Just as each day provides a clean slate, so too does each new year. This year…expect the best, prepare for the worst, love boldly, laugh out loud, cry deeply, hope eternally, and live fully!! You never know when your life or the life of a loved one will be taken for none of us are ever promised tomorrow! Each breath is a gift! Don’t waste this year spending your life in anger, envy, strife, conflict, blame, guilt, shame, anxiety, or bitterness for they take away the joy and beauty of each day and take a physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional toll on the quality of your life.

1. If you are angry, pray for peace and surrender to the Lord your anger.
2. If you are envious, try being thankful for what you DO have, for many others have much less than you.
3. If you are in strife or conflict with someone, apologize and make things right….even if you aren’t the one
who made things wrong (after all God forgives and makes things right with you everyday, even when
He was not the one who sinned or made things wrong!–just saying’).
4. If you are spending time blaming others for where you are and who you have become, decide to take responsibility for yourself and the direction of your life for only you have the power to change it!!
5. If you are stuck in a life filled with guilt and shame, pray, seek counsel, change your ways, and surrender it to God– it was Christ’s sacrifice that has covered ALL your guilt and shame with love, mercy, and grace at the cross!
6. If you are filled with anxiety about whatever you are facing, be it finances, family struggles,
employment, death, health, or anything else out of your control….rest in the arms of God.
Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you (more than you may ever know!!).
7. If you hold bitterness towards someone who has wronged you…let it go!!
It doesn’t hurt the other person, but it destroys you from the inside out!
Forgive and find strength in God to show mercy and grace, just as he has so freely given it to you.

Strive to make this year a GOD centered year, instead of a ME centered year and look forward to all that you will be blessed with! When your focus is love and peace, the world is so much better off….and so are YOU!

All my love ❤

Christmas time—oh so sweet!!

nativity gift

Christmas is my favorite time of the year!  There seems to be more peace, more camaraderie, more hope and joy as the days creep ever closer to Christmas day.  However, as a society, we often focus on the gifts–what we will give, what we will get, black Friday, cyber Monday, holiday specials, sales, coupons!  The list goes on and on.  Christ has been almost completely removed from Christmas, but not in my heart, nor my home!

Though Christ was not truly born on Christmas day, it is a day we celebrate his birth.  It was his birth that brings hope for a future, meaning to life, and joy midst the pain.  Through his sacrifice on the cross, we are saved when we claim him and fall obediently into his arms.  What a blessing to know that God is there, that he cared enough about us to send his only Son to be our salvation and our light!  What a beautiful thing to behold another human being laying down his life for those he loves!  What a miraculous event to be conceived through the power of God!  So as you trim your tree with decorations and lights, as you put up the evergreen decorations and bring out the Nativity seen….remember Christmas is about what Christ has done for us.  He has given us the most precious, priceless, and valuable gift…ETERNAL LIFE!

All my love and may the joy of the birth of Christ carry you through the days and years to come! ❤

Guilty {newsboys}

It has been a while since I have had some time to sit and enjoy the pleasure of writing! Somehow life just gets busy and time escapes me. Nonetheless, God has blessed me with some time to touch base and share a beautiful song from Newsboys! May this be the mantra of every Christian and may the movement of Christ bring hope and light to a world filled with despair and darkness.

All my love ❤

It Might be Hope ~ Sara Groves

I wait on the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope!
Psalm 130:5

When the valley seems to never end, remember there is sunshine ahead! We serve a beautiful God who loves each one of us more than we will ever know.

May you be blessed today knowing you have hope in a God who will always be there ❤

Just be Held ~ Casting Crowns

And this I pray,
that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,
so that you may approve the things that are excellent,
in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ;
having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ,
to the glory and praise of God.
~ Philippians 1:9-11

When everything is chaotic and the storms rage, keep your eyes on the Cross, knowing God has a plan for good, for hope and for a future! Surrender what you cannot control and let God move in your life and the lives of those you love

I give you my son Lord, I surrender him to you, trusting that you will strengthen and protect him from the evil one. I give him to you for he is not my child, but Yours! I am letting go…letting you hold me, asking you to hold my boy as he becomes the man you created him to be.

Mansion in Your Mind (NF ~ Mansion)

Peace I leave with you;
My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
John 14:27

tears

Coming from a background of abuse and chaos, secrets which have passed away with those who have left this world, I find myself trapped inside my own mind at times. For years I have covered up the pain, anguish, guilt and shame, but as God has shone his glorious light into my heart, the darkness has fled. There are times where satan reminds me of my past, brings up fears and fantasies that don’t belong in rooms within my mind! Thank you Lord that you have overcome so that I too can do the same, in your strength and power! So blessed to have a God that is bigger than me, a God who loves me in spite of myself, a God who knows me inside and out and chases after me anyway!

“Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered,
each to his own home, and to leave Me alone;
and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:32-33
