In times of weakness

Every life is filled with ups and downs.  Times that are easy and times that are hard.  Moments where strength abounds and when weakness surrounds.  Despite the storms that rise and fall, God is constant.  His love never fails.  His hope endures.  His hand always leads.  His presence is continuous.  Despite how you feel or what you see before you….God is with you!

In Isaiah 41:10, God says:

Fear not for I am with you: be not dismayed for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness (KJV2000).

What a wonderful promise spoken to us from the Lord.  Though His direct comment was to Israel, it is applicable to all of His people, then and now.  As a believer, you are part of the community of Israel, God’s chosen children.

In your weakness, stand on God’s strength and revel in His promises, knowing that you are His child and He will lead you to paths of peace and righteousness, bringing you ever more into His presence that will enable you to stand through any storm, despite your own weakness.

More scriptures to ponder:

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say in response to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you.  He will not leave you not forsake you.

Isaiah 41:13 For I am the LORD your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.”

Isaiah 40:28-31 Have you not known? Have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary?  There is no searching of his understanding.  He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but those that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings of eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Be blessed by the LORD’s promises and walk His power and strength.  All my love ❤

  1. So True!

God doesn’t fail us; we fail ourselves and our God.

The solution is a closer walk; a more prayerful and prayer-filled walk with God. make time for God daily and most assuredly he WILL make time for YOU.

    Easter Blessings,
