This Heart ~

Beyond words, lovely!

This heart has seen,
more than its share of pain
it has cried more tears
than every drop of rain

This heart has known,
loss beyond compare
it has been through
more than it can bear.

This heart’s been broken,
in pieces too many to count
its had more heartache
than it cares to recount.

This heart once was cold,
from being trampled on . . .
but now its found warmth
by leaning on the ~ Son!

Falling on My Knees

When there is nothing left to do…all I can do if fall on my knees!

Falling
Tired
Waiting
Battling
Hurting
Uncertain
Searching
Trusting
Relying
Hoping

Past haunting
Losing ground
Falling down
Exposed heart
Doubting reality
Heart torn
Thoughts reeling
Feelings swarm
Trust broken
Evil unmasked
Holding on
Seeking more
Looking up
